Vice President of Residential Development
Doug Mousel brings a unique perspective to LandPlan having 19 years of experience in city management and community development roles. Prior to joining LandPlan Development, Doug was employed with some of the fastest growing cities in the Dallas-Fort Worth region including Frisco, Plano, Prosper, Oak Point, and Carrollton.
While he was born and graduated high school in Omaha, Nebraska, Doug attended college at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas and obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Urban and Regional Planning and a minor in Political Science and a Master of Applied Geography with a concentration in Land/Area Development and Management.
Doug’s community involvement includes participating in the inaugural 2004-2005 Northern Collin County Leadership Program, serving on the City of Frisco’s 2009 Charter Review Commission, and serving as the past President of the Prosper Developers Council. He has also coached youth baseball and soccer for several seasons and he regularly serves as a volunteer at his church. Doug has served on the Board of Adjustment/Construction Board of Appeals for the City of Frisco since 2013.
