Nicklaus Golf and LandPlan Development Corp. proudly announce plans to develop a world-class golf course, BearsBrook Golf Club, in Prosper, Texas. Jack Nicklaus has invited the BearsBrook Golf Club to be a Jack Nicklaus Golf Club allowing 35 BearsBrook Founding Members to participate in a reciprocity program involving 25 Jack Nicklaus Golf Clubs worldwide. The 225-acre site is highlighted by rolling terrain, 120 feet of elevation changes, thousands of hardwood trees, lakes, and streams that meander through the property. Prosper Texas is located less than 30 miles north of Dallas. Construction is anticipated to begin in summer 2009 with a fall 2010 opening of the golf course and clubhouse.
